Agenda: Discussing the current disputes in the MENA region and its impact on the international community

The UNSC is a prestigious committee entrusted with the responsibility of maintaining global peace and security. In this session, delegates will delve into the complexities of the current invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation, aiming to understand its causes, consequences, and potential solutions in order to address the challenges it poses. The conflict in the middle east in areas such as Yemen , Iraq and Israel have historical roots dating back 4 decades and recent escalations that have heightened tensions, resulting in significant humanitarian, political, and security challenges. The impact of this conflict extends beyond the immediate region, necessitating careful examination and diplomatic efforts to mitigate its repercussions on the international community. Throughout the session, delegates will be expected to conduct thorough research, critically analyze the factors contributing to the conflict, and propose effective strategies for resolving it. By exploring the political, social, economic, and cultural dimensions of the conflict, delegates will work towards fostering a peaceful and stable environment in the region.
